Bike-A-Thon

thank you for participating in the 12th annual bike-a-thon

EACH YEAR, WE'RE INSPIRED BY THE INCREDIBLE COMMUNITY SPIRIT SHOWCASED DURING THE PUNJABI SENIOR SOCIETY BIKE-A-THON.

In a spectacular show of community spirit, the 12th Annual Punjabi Seniors Bike-a-Thon kicked off embarking on a scenic journey to Purden Lake. This year was nothing short of extraordinary, as participants shattered previous records by raising an impressive $32,328!

The funds raised from this remarkable event are directed towards cardiac care for Northern BC, making a substantial impact on healthcare in the region. We extend heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated volunteers who orchestrated this event, the enthusiastic cyclists who pedaled for a cause, and every generous donor who contributed to this record-breaking success.

Your support is the driving force behind the positive change in our community. Together, we are making a significant difference in cardiac care for Northern BC.

Return

Cyclists wind their way back to Prince George

Initiated in 2010, this ride has made an incredible impact on healthcare in the North. The funds raised have played a pivotal role in supporting our areas of greatest need, including our regional Cardiac Campaign, Optos OCT-SLO for the eye clinic, Spect CT Scanner, and a Dedicated Maternal Operating Room.

“We are truly grateful for the generosity and ambition shown for healthcare by everyone. Each year, the Bike-A-Thon continues to direct their donations to an area of greatest need, and focusing on healthy messages to youth is ideal.  Our hope is that what is learned through this program is retained and shared with family and friends so that everyone benefits from great lessons learned at a young age.” – Aimee Cassie, CEO

“It is important that the money raised stays here locally to help, and that our event draws the community together. I would like to say a special thanks to Dr. Mann. I couldn't do the event without him, and thank you to all of the participants who help us and work hard on this." - Gordie Powar, Bike-A-Thon Coordinator
