Westwood Pub Aims to Bring New Patient Transport Monitor To Prince George

A huge thank you goes out to The Westwood Pub, their partners, and our incredible community! Their recent fundraising event, Let The Beat Go On, has ensured that a new $20,000 Patient Transport Monitor will soon be in action at Prince George. This device, vital for our medical teams, is a portable lifeline that continuously tracks a patient's heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen levels during transfers within the hospital. It's our mobile assurance that our patients receive consistent care, even on the move.

An astounding $15,000 was raised during the event, a testament to the community's spirit and the power of coming together for a shared cause.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported this initiative and came together to make memories!

To The Westwood Pub: You never cease to amaze! Nate and whole team do so much for our community and have blown us away with their generosity. John and Patrick kept the grill going all day, and then went to work their shift. Thank you!!

The TELUS Prince George team was truly incredible, running the games generously supplied by Ness Lake Bible Camp, and making sure memories were made!

Party Kings Co. had the most incredible setup and made sure the kids smiled all day long!

MP Make-up Artistry created magic on every single face she touched!

Centennial Wholesale Premium Meats & Seafood and Shoppers Wholesale Foods helped us make sure everyone left full!

The AMAZING Cardiac Team from UHNBC , thank you for volunteering all day and truly sharing the impact of why Cardiac Care is so desperately needed here at home!

And finally, the one and only David Mothus - Advisor, Sun Life who is a fierce champion of our community and consistently goes far above and beyond what we could ever hope for.

What a day, thank you PG! Together, we're enhancing care, one step at a time. 💙
