What a great day of community!!!

Thanks to all of the volunteers from Hell Yeah PG, Telus, Jim Pattison Media, Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation, Save On Foods and the Salvation Army.

There are so many times, we fund equipment that benefits patients, physicians, and healthcare professionals but we don’t always get the opportunity to see it in operation.

That was until today….

The Tovertafel System allows residents to socially engage with one another and their loved ones. This has proven to be very successful, especially with Dementia and Alzheimer's patients.

A new Colposcopy service has now been added to the NW and NE thanks to the donors of Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation.

Thank to the incredible generosity of a very special donor, Dunrovin Park Lodge in Quesnel now has a beautiful new long term care bus to help bring convenient mobility to seniors living at the lodge.

Recently, the pediatrics department asked for support to help purchase iPads with specialized cases to be used by children while on the unit. Thanks to your support, our littlest patients are now able to play games, watch movies, and pass the time that much quicker while staying at UHNBC.

Since 2018, Emery and Geraldine Cawsey have presented an annual Nursing Education Award to 4th year Nursing Students in recognition of the instrumental role Nurses play in the care of our families, friends, and loved ones.
