Prince George Loyal Order of Moose Donation to Spirit of the North

Kindness and generosity knows no bounds in Prince George. Especially from the Loyal Order of Moose Prince George.
The Order stopped by and donated over $160,000.00 towards 3 areas in UHNBC; Pediatrics, Diabetes education and vital equipment. With all of these funds staying local at UHNBC, we are able to fund a variety of pieces that will improve healthcare here in Prince George.
"If this money saves one person from not having to travel outside of Northern BC, then it is money well spent," said Darrel William member of Loyal Order of Moose Prince George. "We want the money to stay local and help the people in our community"

Pieces such as Sim Man 3g PLUS, a educational tool designed to simulate real-life critical care scenarios, allow our new and current healthcare professionals to gain vital hands on experience and muscle memory before ever working on a live patient. Another piece, is the Giraffe Care Station, a device designed to help neonatal infants heal and grow in a safe and regulated environment.
These, and more, are all possible with the kind donation that the Loyal Order of Moose generously gave to Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation.
