Greg Houston, Harley Raffle Committee Chair presents Spirit of the North CEO Judy Neiser with the proceeds of the 2016 raffle
The Prince George Firefighters - Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation’s 2016 Harley Raffle was a resounding success with all 3,500 tickets again sold prior to the Saturday, March 12 draw. The draw was completed at the Prince George Harley-Davidson shop on Vance Road at 4:30pm.
The 1st prize winner of the 2016 Harley Davidson Dyna Wide Glide was Chantal Morton of Prince George.
The 2nd prize winner was Ken Coombs of Quesnel, winning a $500 gift certificate to the Harley Davidson shop in Prince George
The 3rd prize winner was Talwinder Sidhu of Terrace, winning a $250 gift certificate to the Harley Davidson shop in Prince George.
All proceeds from the raffle are donated to the Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation and will be used to complete funding for the OptosOct SLO System and California UWF Unit, a suite of optical diagnostic equipment for which fundraising began at the 2015 Radiothon. The equipment is on order with delivery expected this spring. This is the 19th successful Harley Raffle for the two partnered groups and the Spirit of the North is proud to announce that more than $780,000 has been raised through this annual fundraiser.
“We are so pleased to be the charity of choice for this fund raiser that is so broadly embraced by the community and the members of the Prince George Fire Fighters Union Local 1372” said Judy Neiser, CEO for Spirit of the North. “Without their dedication of time and energy for the project, along with Costco’s contribution of space and our partnership with Harley Davidson of Prince George, we wouldn’t be able to see these exciting results. This is community spirit at its best.”
